    Oman Broadband Company in collaboration with Al Burkan Engineering LLC to introduce a job opportunity for Omanis in a temporary basis to hold company’s projects.            

       JOB PURPOSE

    SharePoint developer is responsible to help in build, implementing and maintain Microsoft SharePoint applications for the company. This will require working collaboratively with team members and business users to clarify requirements and confirm design/implementation. Also, will be responsible for creating & maintain databases.  This role works closely with other & will act as Developers, Testers, and Production Support through each stage of the software development lifecycle and demonstrates both existing and new functionality to the customer stakeholders.

    • 4 Years Contract .

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System or any related field.
    • 2 years' experience or fresh graduate with valid experience in Microsoft SharePoint inculding design and implementation of web parts , custom content types , user controls , event handlers, custom workflows and application pages.
    • Experience in Share point workflow is desirable (Nintex will be added value)
    • Shall have experience in ASP .Net, HTML, CSS and JavaScript with basic knowledge of SQL and SQL database, SharePoint Foundation and SharePoint Solutions. .

  • Personal Qualities :

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for configuration and custom development of the SharePoint environment to meet the needs of the business users. 
    • Collaborate with the internal and external IT team to design, develop, customize and integrate enterprise solutions involving collaboration, portals, enterprise search, enterprise content management (ECM), business process workflows, forms and business intelligence. 
    • Develop technical specifications, maintain an in-depth knowledge of the SharePoint applications and related ecosystem. 
    • Participate in testing of the configured / developed functionality to the specifications and write technical documentation. 
    • Provide expertise in the estimating and planning of new software delivery. 
    • User training, solving user’s issues, assisting users to correctly use the Application. 
    • Daily server’s health check. 
    • Configure the new system environments according to standard change control disciplines 
    • Creates modules, modifies screen layouts, and maintains drop down lists and lookup tables in new system environments 
    • Should have experience in Asterisk, API Integration, Web Services 
    • Field requests from technical support staff to build and enhance necessary modules 
    • Maintain system automation via internal workflows and created logic hooks.
    • Responsible for configuration and custom development of the Nintex environment to meet the needs of the business users.
    • Acting as DBA for the relevant application and mentioning the database.
    • Supporting all other application in the company.
    • Acting as L1, L2 & L3 support for company application.
