Oman Broadband Company Signs Agreement to Provide Optical Fiber Services for the “Rawasi” Project

Oman Broadband Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jabal Bausher Heights Company to provide optical fiber services and enhance the digital infrastructure of the “Rawasi” project. This agreement aligns with the requirements of modern urban development and ensures the project is fully equipped for smart services.

The MoU was signed by Eng. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Wahaibi, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Broadband Company, and Eng. Khalid bin Nasser bin Sulaiman Al Mahrouqi, Chief Executive Officer of Jabal Bausher Heights Company. This memorandum serves to strengthen cooperation between the two parties in the field of telecommunications infrastructure, contributing to the creation of a fully integrated digital environment that supports modern real estate projects and keeps pace with the digital transformation in the Sultanate of Oman.

Commenting on the agreement, Eng. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Wahaibi stated: “We are keen to expand our partnerships with major real estate projects to provide an advanced optical fiber infrastructure that supports smart urban development and elevates the quality of digital services. We reaffirm our commitment to empowering telecommunications infrastructure in a manner that aligns seamlessly with the Digital Oman vision.”

On his part, Eng. Khalid bin Nasser bin Sulaiman Al Mahrouqi said: “This collaboration with Oman Broadband Company represents a significant step in the development of the Rawasi project. By providing modern telecommunications infrastructure, we are raising the project’s efficiency and investment attractiveness. We look forward to future partnerships that will further enhance the sustainability and integration of the project.”
