Oman Broadband Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rathath Real Estate Development to provide optical fiber services within its upcoming project. This initiative aims to enhance the readiness of the project’s digital infrastructure and foster an advanced telecommunications environment that meets the needs of modern developments in the Sultanate of Oman.
The MoU was signed by Eng. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Wahaibi, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Broadband Company, and Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al Mahrouqi, Chief Executive Officer of Rathath Real Estate Development.
This agreement comes as part of Oman Broadband Company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its partnerships with various development projects and expand the reach of its optical fiber networks, thereby supporting the national digital transformation and establishing an advanced telecommunications foundation.
In a statement regarding the partnership, Eng. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Wahaibi said: “Through these partnerships, we continue to drive the expansion of optical fiber services and deliver advanced telecommunications solutions that support developmental projects and keep pace with the requirements of Oman’s digital future.
