Oman Broadband celebrates the graduation of sixty job seekers from the fiber optic link technician program
Oman Broadband, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Oman Fiber Optic company recently celebrated the graduation of sixty job seekers from the “Fiber Optic Link Technician” program. The ceremony was held under the patronage of His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Hamdan bin Hamoud Al- Ismaili, Executive President of Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.
Engineer Hamed bin Abdullah Al Abdali, General Manager of Supply Chain at Oman Broadband, said: “Oman Broadband has been keen to ensure that graduates of the training program join the labor market through its contractors, either via direct employment or self-employment. In terms of empowering our country’s youth, the company has adopted a seven-month specialized training program at the Oman Fiber Optic Company Institute. This first edition of the training program was conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor, with about sixty job seekers joining.”
