Oman Equestrian and Racing Federation and Oman Broadband Company Sign Agreement to Support the 2025 Oman International Showjumping Championship

The Oman Equestrian and Racing Federation has signed a cooperation agreement with Oman Broadband Company to support the organization of the 2025 Oman International Showjumping Championship. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening national partnerships and supporting community and sports initiatives with strategic impact. The collaboration is part of the company’s social investment initiatives, reaffirming its commitment to social responsibility and backing events that promote national identity and develop the skills of Omani youth.

The agreement was signed by Sayyid Munther bin Saif bin Hamad bin Saud Al Busaidi, Chairman of the Oman Equestrian and Racing Federation, and Eng. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Wahaibi, CEO of Oman Broadband Company, in the presence of officials from both sides.

During the signing, Sayyid Munther bin Saif bin Hamad bin Saud Al Busaidi, Chairman of the Oman Equestrian and Racing Federation, emphasized that the cooperation with Oman Broadband Company represents a pioneering model of effective partnership between the public and private sectors. He highlighted that this strategic and community-focused partnership will enable the federation to organize the 2025 Oman International Showjumping Championship according to the highest international standards and enhance Oman’s position on the global sports map.

Al Busaidi added: “We highly value this partnership, which contributes to the development of equestrian sports, opens new horizons for Omani youth, and empowers them to excel and succeed internationally.”

For his part, Eng. Sultan bin Ahmed Al wahaibi, CEO of Oman Broadband Company, explained that supporting the championship reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable social investment. He said: “Sports are not just competitions; they are a platform to nurture Omani talent, empower youth to excel and innovate, and elevate Oman’s standing both locally and internationally. Certainly, our support for this championship reflects our ongoing commitment to community initiatives that promote development and open new opportunities for Omani youth in line with Vision 2040.”
